Butler Basketball Season Tickets On Sale
Season tickets for the 2009-10 Butler men’s basketball
campaign are now on sale. The Bulldogs, who return the entire
team from last year’s 26-6 club which advanced to the NCAA
Tournament, will have 15 home games this season, including contests
against Ohio State, Xavier, Davidson and a BracketBusters
contest.
Butler captured a third straight Horizon League regular season
championship last year and made its third straight NCAA Tournament
appearance. The Bulldogs were ranked in the “Top
25” (Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today) for 12 consecutive
weeks, climbing as high as No. 11 in the nation.
Butler’s Matt Howard was named Horizon League Player of the
Year, while Gordon Hayward was chosen as the league’s
Newcomer of the Year.
“Even though it’s the beginning of June, I hope that
everyone shares our excitement and anticipation of the 2009-10
Bulldogs and our home schedule,” said Butler head coach Brad
Stevens, who was named Horizon League Coach of the Year in just his
second season at the helm of the Bulldogs. “We’re
looking forward to the many challenges in front of us.”
Lower level season tickets for the 2009-10 season will cost
$399. Upper level tickets will be $259 for adults and $129
for children age 3-12. In addition to guaranteed seating for
Butler’s 15 home games, season ticket-holders have priority
in purchasing tickets to selected road games, as well as any
post-season games. Tickets can be purchased by using the
order form on Butler’s athletic website
(www.butlersports.com) or by calling the Butler ticket office at
Hinkle Fieldhouse (317-940-DOGS).
Tickets for individual games will go on sale in the Fall.
