Sara Doebel came to Butler as an assistant athletic trainer in the summer of 2012. Doebel covers the sports medicine needs for Butler's volleyball, track and field and women’s swimming programs.

Doebel recently earned her Master’s Degree in Athletic Training at the University of Toledo in May of 2012. While at Toledo, she served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer working with women’s volleyball and men’s tennis.

A native of Clyde, Ohio, Doebel earned her Bachelor of Arts in athletic training at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, in May of 2010. While at Capital, she was a four-year volleyball letterwinner and served as team captain.
