Butler Athletics Gameday Parking and Tailgating Policies

Football
The Hinkle Lot will open at 8 a.m. and remain open until 2 hours after the game*. No overnight parking will be permitted. Game day parking is NOT guaranteed and is subject to availability.

* EXCEPTION: An afternoon football game followed by an evening event such as a men's basketball game. In this case, the lot must be cleared at 5 p.m.

Each pass is good for one spot. Additional spots can be purchased at the game day rate.

NOT PERMITTED: Glass Bottles, Staked Tents and Kegs.

Men's Basketball
The Hinkle Lot will open 90 minutes before tip-off and close 90 minutes after the game. No over night parking will be permitted. Game day parking is NOT guaranteed and is subject to availability.

Men's Basketball Shuttle Service

Beginning on Saturday, Nov. 19, Butler basketball fans can park their vehicles at the Meridian Street United Methodist Church, located at 5500 North Meridian, and board shuttles that will depart for Hinkle Fieldhouse.  

Shuttle service will be provided at no cost and will begin 90 minutes prior to the scheduled tip-off.  The last shuttle will depart for campus at the announced game time.  

Shuttles will unload patrons on 49th Street, just outside the main entrance to the Hinkle parking lot.

Service will continue immediately following the conclusion of the game. The last shuttle will depart Hinkle 30 minutes after the final horn.  

Due to the shuttle service, parking along 49th street between Rookwood Avenue and Boulevard Place will be restricted.

Note: There will no parking shuttle for Butler games vs. Milwaukee on Dec. 31 or Youngstown State on Jan. 15.
