In the closing rounds of the ITA Ohio Valley Regional, several Bulldogs made strong runs through the main bracket and consolation rounds.

After winning his first round match, Mason Dragos advanced on Friday by defeating ETSU's Sergi Fontcuberta, the No. 16 seed, in three sets, 6-4, 5-7, 7-5.
Dragos then fell to Preston Touliatos of Tennessee, 2-6, 7-5, 6-3.

Aviv Ben Shabat also won his first round match. On Friday, he dropped a three-set decision to Indiana's Andrew Redding, 7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-3. Redding was the No. 23 seed.
In consolation play, freshman Michael Dickson made a run with a pair of straight-set wins, knocking off Austin Peay's Aleh Drobysh and Eastern Kentucky's Guillem Sanchis. He then lost to Tom Moonen of Middle Tennessee.

Spencer Lang easily got by Northern Kentucky's Anthony Bosch, 6-1, 6-2, before falling in third-set match tiebreaker to Jorge Alfonzo of Tennessee Tech.

A pair of Butler doubles teams had their ITA play ended by seeded teams. Lang and Addison Cazier lost to the No. 15-seeded team from Kentucky in the second round. Dragos and Sam Sullivan won a pair of matches, including an 8-7 decision over the No. 12 seed from Kentucky. They ultimately lost to the No. 3 seed, Kai Lemke and Matt Story of Memphis.

The Bulldogs finish off play in the fall season on the weekend of Nov. 3 as the team will send portions of the roster to both Purdue and Illinois State, respectively, for invitational events.
