Junior Lauren Tibbets fired a Tuesday-best round of 69 to take fifth place individually at the Butler Fall Invitational. She moved up from seventh following Monday's opening 18 holes.

Tibbets paired her one-under 69 with a 74 on Monday to post a three-over 143 for the event. She was two shots behind a three-way tie for first at 141.

Indiana State's Sierra Hargens won the event in a three-way playoff on the fourth playoff hole. Indianapolis's Kylie Raines and Paxton DeHaven also carded 141 for the event.

As a team, Butler shot 299 Tuesday, which was a 13-stroke improvement from the day before. That moved the Bulldogs into the third position. Indianapolis won the event (579) followed by Indiana State (599) and Butler (611).

IUPUI (614), Marian (619), Youngstown State (639), Fort Wayne (650), Evansville (654), Delaware State (678), and Bellarmine (700) rounded out the 10-team field.

Betsy Werner (77-77--154; 16th), Rachel Gathof (80-77--157; 19th), Abigail Gleixner (81-77--158; T20), and Kelsey McDougall (83-76--159; T22) rounded out the Butler scoring five.

The event was played at Highland Golf and Country Club, with the women utilizing a par-70, 6,035-yard layout.

All 11 members of the Butler roster were in action as the Bulldogs also fielded six individuals in the event. Freshman Katelyn Le tied for 22nd with a two-round score of 159 (80-79).

Allison Kinsinger (83-81--164; T40), Megan Skoog (88-79—167; 45th), Janisa Bondoc (87-81--168; T46), Ally Ross (89-85--174; T56), and Lauren Dauk (97-92--189; 63rd) each played as individuals.

The Bulldogs return to action Oct. 16 at the Dayton Invitational.
