Eric Dick have been selected as Second-Team All-Americans by College Soccer News.
Guhl, in his first season with the Bulldogs after transferring from SMU, led the BIG EAST with 13 goals and 31 points this season and was named the conference's Co-Offensive Player of the Year in addition to landing a spot on the conference's first team. That included five game-winning goals. In NCAA Tournament play, Guhl scored both goals in the 2-0 win over Lipscomb in the first round before netting the game-winner at VCU in the second round.
Dick was also named first-team All-American by United Soccer Coaches and was previously named the BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year while also earning All-BIG EAST first team honors. He had a BIG EAST-best nine shutouts on the season, posting a 0.97 goals against average and .820 save percentage. Dick's nine shutouts this season are the most in a single season, while his 28 career clean sheets are also a Butler best.
Guhl and Dick led the Bulldogs to a 14-5-2 overall record, a BIG EAST regular season championship, and an appearance in the NCAA Third Round. That postseason run matched the best finish in program history.
