Eric Dick has been selected to the 2017 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Men's Scholar All-North/Central Region Team.
Dick, a science technology and society major, posted a 3.32 GPA to earn a spot on the All-Region Scholar Team. As a team, the Bulldogs also earned their ninth-straight United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award with a team GPA of 3.2.
This award is one of many for the 6-5 goalkeeper. Dick was previously named the BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year while also earning All-BIG EAST first-team honors. Along with his BIG EAST accolades, Dick was named to the All-Great Lakes Region first-team and the NCAA All-American first-team.
Dick had a BIG EAST-best nine shutouts on the season, posting a 0.97 goals against average and .820 save percentage. Dick's nine shutouts this season are the most in a single season, while his 28 career clean sheets are also a Butler best.
