CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind.- The Bulldogs competed in the Wabash Pentathlon this past Saturday. There were no team scores, only individual standings.

Maurice Stewart was proud of his team's performance at Wabash. "This was a fun, low pressure meet for us in order to stay in racing mode prior to the winter break," Stewart said. "The team did a great job racing today. They kept the team spirit and support for one another very high during the meet. It was great to see everyone do well and have fun."
Tori Horton was selected as the team's swimmer of the meet for her solid performance. Horton placed 10th overall with a cumulative time of 5:22.18. Her final time was comprised of; 1:04.40 100 Fly, 1:01.55 100 Back, 1:16.00 100 Breast, 56.24 100 Free, and 1:03.99 100 IM.

Emma Harris posted the fasted 100 Fly time for the team. Harris finished with a time of 1:00.65, earning 6th place. Annah VanGheem and
Alexis Faith placed ninth and 10th, with times of 1:01.14 and 1:01.43 respectively.
Leading the way for the Dawgs in the 100 Back was
Tori Horton. Her 1:01.55 earned fifth place. Finishing just behind her in sixth was
Megan Hanson. Hanson finished in 1:02.01.
Three Bulldogs finished inside the top-ten in the 100 Breast.
Emma Spotts placed second with a time of 1:08.51.
Sydney Gurry finished ninth with a time of 1:12.26, and
Carson Middlebrook finished 10th in 1:12.46.
Abbie Linek led the way in the 100 Free, finishing fourth with a time of 55.26.
Annah Van Gheem finished sixth, after recording a time of 56.06.
Tori Horton placed ninth with a time of 56.24
Two Bulldogs finished in the top ten in the 100 IM.
Emma Spotts finished seventh with a time of 1:03.18.
Emma Harris placed ninth after posting a time of 1:03.80.
Butler's winter training trip to Deerfield Beach, Fla. will take place from Jan. 8-13. Their next meet is the 9th Annual Butler Invitational which will be held on Jan. 21.
