Since 2008, Butler Athletics, led by the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), has partnered with St. Mary's Child Center to provide Christmas cheer to their pre-school students. St. Mary's Child Center is a not-for-profit agency that offers two early childhood initiatives to positively impact the futures of young children: The Preschool Program and The Educational Outreach Program.
 
Many of the student-athletes and staff donated money to fill 200 shoe boxes with gifts.  What wasn't used to fill the shoe boxes was donated to the Center for supplies.
