The Bulldogs closed out 2017 competition at two events Friday. A majority of the team traveled to Bloomington for Indiana University's Hoosier Open, while a portion of the roster stayed within the Circle City for the University of Indianapolis Winter Break Invitational.

Allie Vogeler broke her own 500-meter dash school record with a time of 1:13.96.
Freshmen
Angelina Ellis (2:56.11) and
Kelly Mindak (2:58.60) ran the fifth and eighth-fastest 1,000m marks in Butler history.
Evan Johnson took second in the 3,000 meters (8:28.64) and teammate
