LEXINGTON, S.C. -- The Butler Bulldogs will participate in the Lexington County Hits vs. Cancer Challenge to raise awareness and support for childhood cancer during their Feb. 17-19 road trip to Lexington, South Carolina.

The team will face off with LaSalle and Ohio to see which school can raise the most money during the tournament. Fans can pledge a donation for every hit recorded during games. Half of the funds will benefit local childhood cancer hospitals and the other half will fund brain tumor research with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.

The Lexington County Hits vs. Cancer Challenge is partnering with vs. Cancer, Lexington County Recreation Commission, and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
