Butler knocked off Omaha, 4-1, at the university's Tennis Bubble Friday afternoon. With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 3-8 on the season.
With wins on courts 2 and 3, the Bulldogs took the doubles point. Butler followed that by winning three of the first singles matches. With the result decided, the teams did not finish action on courts 5 and 6.
Rachel Sutton won a singles match at No. 2 and added a win in No. 2 doubles.
The Bulldogs return to action Feb. 25 at Bradley.
