The Bulldogs stand in tenth after Monday's 36 holes at The Invitational at Savannah Harbor hosted by William & Mary. Play concludes with 18 holes Tuesday at the par-72, 7,287-yard The Club at Savannah Harbor course.
 
Butler opened with a team score of 309 for the opening 18 and then followed that with a 295 in the afternoon round. The Bulldogs made the second-best improvement from the first round to second round among the 14-team field.
 
Joey Arcuri is the top Bulldogs with 18 holes remaining after shooting 73-75 for a four-over mark of 148. He is followed by Zack Carrabine (75-75—150, +6), Michael Denner (82-71—153, +9), Pat Allgeier (79-74—153, +9), and Gehrig Hollatz (82-75—157, +13). Hunter Byram, playing as an individual, shot two rounds of 79 and is at 158 (+14) entering the final round.
 
Denner leads the field in scoring on the par-5s, as he is three-under.
 
Host William & Mary leads the field with a nine-under total of 567 through the two rounds. They are followed by Belmont (574), Eastern Kentucky (575), and South Carolina Beaufort (576).
 
William & Mary's Austin Morrison leads the event at 138 (-6). He shot 65 in the opening round and is two strokes ahead of two individuals from Belmont who share second place.
