INDIANAPOLIS—The Butler swim team will pack their bags and head to East Meadow, N.Y. on Wednesday to compete in the 2017 BIG EAST Swimming & Diving Championships.
 
The championship meet will be held at Nassau County Aquatic Center on Wednesday, Feb. 22 and run through Saturday, Feb. 25.
 
Wednesday's preliminary events will begin at 4 P.M. and include the 800 Freestyle Relay as well as the 200 Medley Relay.
 
Thursday, Friday and Saturday preliminary events will begin at 10 A.M. with the finals set for 6 P.M. The complete meet schedule can be found on the Championship Central page.
 
The Bulldogs finished sixth overall in the 2016 BIG EAST Swimming and Diving Championships. The team found success by breaking eight school records.
