Results (PDF)

The Bulldogs had a five-match winning streak snapped by Eastern Kentucky Saturday afternoon as the Colonels pulled out a 4-3 victory in Richmond, Ky.

Butler is now 6-3 on the season. EKU improves to 8-4.

Eastern Kentucky captured the doubles point, which proved to be the difference in the match. The Colonels took wins on the second and third courts after Mikheil Khmiadashvili and Mason Dragos won at No. 1 doubles.

Khmiadashvili and Aviv Ben Shabat won matches at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, while Lope Adelakun also won at No. 6 singles.

However, EKU was able to capture wins at the No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5 spots to take the win.

The Bulldogs return to action March 3 with a 5 p.m. home match against Northern Illinois.
