Butler finished second at their Spring Invitational as 36 holes were played over two days at Prestwick Country Club in Avon, Ind. IUPUI won the event.

Gehrig Hollatz and Ricky Kuiper tied for third, each posting rounds of 77-75. IUPUI's Justin Holt won the event by two shots over teammate Jackson Juerling, with a two-round total of 149.

The Bulldogs fired the best team score of the day with a 299. That was an eight-shot improvement from Monday's action, but not enough to overcome the five-shot lead that IUPUI entered the round with.

???????IUPUI shot 301 Tuesday after a 302 Monday, winning the event with a two-round score of 603. Butler was second at 606. A second IUPUI team finished third at 625.

Hunter Byram finished seventh at 153 with rounds of 78 and 75. Patrick Allgeier was one shot behind him. Joey Arcuri tied for Tuesday's low round with a 74, finishing at 154 for the 36-hole event.

Zack Carrabine (80-76 – 156) and Iain Ferlmann (85-82 – 167) competed as individuals, finishing in a tie for 11^th and 17^th, respectively.

Butler's next action is April 11 at the Big Four Classic at Crooked Stick Golf Club.
