The BIG EAST named Gabbi Schnaiter BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week on March 13, after the freshman guided the Bulldogs to three wins at the USF Under Armour Showcase.
 
Making four appearances and three starts last weekend, Schnaiter only allowed six runs against Central Connecticut, Monmouth and USF. Overall, she combined for 19 innings pitched in two complete games with one save. Against USF, Schnaiter let up a single run after seven innings.
 
The pitcher has two wins under her belt this season. The team travels to Ball State March 22 before conference play opens against DePaul three days later at home.
