Butler's offense sparked in the final innings to boost the team 5-4 over Ohio and conclude the weekend series 3-0. The Bulldogs have now won five in a row, setting the season record to 16-7.
 
Butler trailed 3-0 in the sixthinning before adding runs to even the score. Ohio scored two in the opening inning and took advantage of a fielding error that would eventually score on a single RBI.
 
Tyler Houston put one on the scoreboard for Butler with a solo home run in the sixth inning while teammate 
Duncan Hewitt tied the game at three with a two-run homer in the seventh frame.
 
Ohio managed to pull ahead by one before Butler tied the game again at 4-4 in the ninth inning. 
Garrett Christman reached first after getting hit by a pitch and was replaced by pinch-runner 
Zach Jarosz. The infielder advanced on two singles from 
Michael Hartnagel and 
Jordan Lucio before scoring on a walk with bases loaded.
 
Hartnagel made it around the bases on a hit from 
Connor Dall to put the Bulldogs on top, 5-4, for the team's first lead of the game. Butler held the lead to sweep Ohio.
 
Connor Mitchell started on the mound for the Bulldogs and let up four hits in seven innings before getting relieved. 
Luke Johnson picked up the win while 
Ottavio Dattolo was credited with the save.
 
Butler will be at Ball State on March 28 for a 3 p.m. game start.
