Duncan Hewitt to pull a 7-6 victory at Ohio on Saturday. Butler's second win of the weekend series extended the team's winning streak to four games and advanced the season record to 15-7.

The two teams were scoreless until Butler struck first in the third inning. Houston launched a long ball into left field for his first home run of the day. Hewitt followed with a solo shot of his own in the fourth inning to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 advantage. Houston added his second home run and fourth of the season in the fifth inning.

The outfielder singled to center the following inning to score
Dan Busch and Hewitt. Houston closed out the day 5-for-5 with 6 RBIs. As a team, Butler recorded 13 hits compared to Ohio's total of six.

Ryan Pepiot shut down Ohio through six full frames. The freshman walked away with his fifth win of the season and only holds one loss on the mound.

Ohio cut the 5-0 deficit by two after runners broke for home on a single and throwing error in the seventh. Butler responded with a single from
Cole Malloy before Houston tallied his third home run to render the score 7-2.

The opposing team created a four-run rally in the bottom of the eighth before Butler stopped Ohio's advances and were able to cling to a one-run lead.Â
