The Bulldogs continued the outdoor season with an impressive showing at the Raleigh Relays hosted by North Carolina State. The meet was held over Friday and Saturday.

Allie Vogeler improved her own 400-meter hurdles school record, winning her section in a time of 1:01.21. Her time was fifth overall in the meet. Earlier in the meet, Vogeler had an outdoor lifetime best of 57.86 in the 400 meters.

Freshman Josephine Thestrup continues to climb up Butler's all-time 1,500 meters list, this time posting a 4:25.21 in the meet's elite section.

Euan Makepeace ran a 14:05.25 in the 5,000 meters, taking third in his section. He was 12^th overall. Also in the 5,000 meters, Maddie Westerhoff posted a lifetime-best time of 16:47.35. She placed second in her section.

Bobby Johnson and Jonathan Collier posted strong times of 30:09.01 and 30:20.29, respectively, in the 10,000 meters. Freshman Evan Johnson had his outdoor season debut in the 5,000 meters, placing sixth in his section with a time of 14:37.74. Tim Vestuto's time of 11.02 was fourth in his section of the 100 meters.

The Bulldogs return to action next weekend, sending portions of the roster to Stanford, San Francisco State and Cincinnati to compete.
