Due to rain already in the Indianapolis area and the forecast for much of the same throughout the day, Butler's softball game with DePaul, scheduled for Sunday, has been cancelled.

The game will not be rescheduled.

The two teams split a doubleheader Saturday at Butler Softball Field to open the 2017 BIG EAST schedule.

Butler returns to action Sunday with a 5 p.m. game at IUPUI.
