Bailey Padgett and Jordan Minnick posted singles wins at the No. 1 and No. 5 spots, respectively, leading the Butler effort Friday at Cincinnati. The host Bearcats were able to secure the doubles point and four singles matches for a 5-2 win. 

Padgett defeated Cincinnati's top player, Lauren Bellinger, 5-7, 6-4, 1-0 (10-3), while Minnick knocked off Anna Philp in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4. Minnick also teammed with Jocelyn Koester for a win at No. 2 singles. 

Butler is now 4-14 on the season and returns to action April 1 with a BIG EAST match against Marquette. That match is in Indianapolis.
