INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler lacrosse team will play at Cincinnati this Saturday, April 1. This contest marks Butler's third-straight BIG EAST competition and their second-straight game on the road.

About Butler
The Bulldogs have a one-two punch in
Haley Hallenbeck and
Journey Fischbeck, a pair of teammates that share the team lead in points with 24. Hallenbeck is the team leader in goals scored with 21 while Fischbeck holds top honors on the team in assists with 10. Hallenbeck also leads the team in ground balls (19), draw controls (27) and caused turnovers (11).
BU splits time at goalie between
Allie Storke and
Haley Rayburn. Storke was in goal for Butler's lone win of the season. She has 49 saves on the year and a 15.24 goals-against average. Rayburn has 43 saves over seven games. She posts a .344 save percentage.
Scouting Cincinnati
In order for Butler to pull off the upset win at Cincinnati they will have to slow down Monica Borzillo. The top option of the Bearcat offense heads into the weekend with 28 goals and 24 assists for 52 total points, the highest total in the BIG EAST Conference.
Cincinnati has four other players on the roster with a double digit goal total. Three of the four are tied for second with 15 goals each. Amanda Donovan has proved to be more than a goal scorer however as she heads into the contest with 20 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers.
Alex MacAffer is the Bearcat goalie. She has a 3-5 record and a team-high 56 saves. MacAffer allows nearly 13 goals per game meanwhile Butler averages eight per contest.
