Butler capped its Spring Break trip with a 6-1 win over BIG EAST foe Creighton. The win gives the Bulldogs a 3-0 record on the trip to Orlando and moves the team to an impressive mark of 10-3 on the season.
Butler took the doubles point behind wins on courts 1 and 2. In singles action, Butler had four players register straight-set wins, including
Mikheil Khmiadashvili at No. 1 singles.
Aviv Ben Shabat needed three sets to win his match at No. 2 singles over Creighton's Armando Gandini.
Mason Dragos,
Ari Gerstein and Lope Adelakun also picked up straight-set singles wins.
Creighton was the first BIG EAST opponent on Butler's 2017 roster.
The Bulldogs return to action March 17, hosting Marian.
