Full Results (PDF)

A good portion of Butler's track roster spent Saturday at the University of Cincinnati for the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational. Included among Butler's results were wins by a pair of Bulldogs.

For the men, Sam Robinson won the triple jump (14.09) and placed second in the long jump (6.67m).

Tim Vestuto and Graham Stecz went 3-4 in the 400 meters, posting times of 50.66 and 50.89, respectively.

On the women's side, Allie Vogeler took the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:02.28. She was two seconds better than the next competitor. Vogeler is the school record-holder in the event for Butler, one that she has lowered several times this season.

Freshman Josephine Thestrup's time of 2:14.72 was good for fifth in the 800 meters.

The Bulldogs competed against host Cincinnati, Xavier, Northern Kentucky, Toledo, Eastern Kentucky, Ball State, Dayton, and others. The women's field included 11 teams, while 15 universities sent men to compete.

Butler takes a week off from competition before the Bulldogs will be split among three meets April 12-14. A majority of the team will travel to Muncie, Ind., for the Ball State Challenge on April 14. Smaller groups will travel west for the Mt. Sac Relays and Asuza Pacific Invitational in California.
