Butler dropped a 7-0 decision against BIG EAST foe Marquette Saturday in Indianapolis.

The Bulldogs' top doubles team of Bailey Padgett and Rachel Sutton teamed up for a 6-4 win over the No. 1 doubles team for the Golden Eagles.

However, Marquette was able to take the doubles point and sweep the six singles matches to improve to 9-5 on the season.

Saturday's match was the first of three straight BIG EAST matches to close the regular season. Butler next plays DePaul on April 15.

The Bulldogs are 4-15 on the season.
