On March 20, 1954, tiny Milan High School played Muncie Central in a game that would define Indiana high school basketball. Bobby Plump, on his way to stellar collegiate career as a Bulldog, hits the game winner to give Milan a 32-30 victory and inspire the movie "Hoosiers". Two additional players from this team, Rollin Cutter and Ray Craft, along with head coach Marvin Wood also played basketball at Butler. In 2014, Butler University supporters honored Plump with a gift that named the southwest concourse ramp of the fieldhouse in his honor.
