Iman Lathan Joins @ButlerUWBB Program



INDIANAPOLIS – Fifth-year transfer Iman Lathan has joined the Butler women's basketball program and will be eligible for competition this fall. The 5-9 guard played for Cal State Fullerton last year, leading the Titans in points per game (15.3).
 
Lathan is originally from Temecula, California where she attended Perris High School. She averaged 25 points per game over the final two years of her high school career and therefore was recognized as a First Team All-Conference selection.
 
Lathan spent two seasons at Nevada before transferring to Cal State Fullerton. She appeared in 20 games as a true freshman, shooting 49 percent from the field. Lathan scored a season-high eight points in an overtime win vs. Air Force. As a sophomore, Lathan averaged 6.6 points per game and led the team with 62 assists. Her 69 made field goals were the second-highest total on the team as she appeared in 25 games, making 15 starts.
 
Most recently, Lathan averaged 15.3 points per game for Cal State Fullerton while averaging 28 minutes of court time. She started in 11 of 24 games, averaging 6.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
