In its second game as part of the team's foreign tour through Spain, Butler cruised to an 85-51 win over Arcos Albacete Basketball Club Sunday afternoon in Albacete. The game was played in Albacete.
Paul Jorgensen led the Bulldogs with 20 points, including 4-of-5 shooting on three-pointers. Jorgensen added eight rebounds. He was the only Butler player to see more than 21 minutes as coach LaVall Jordan spread minutes around as Butler took 24-10 and 52-21 leads, respectively, after the first two periods.
Sophomore Henry Baddley was the other Bulldog in double figures with 13 points. He made five of his six attempts from the field.
Kelan Martin, who led the team in scoring Friday night against a team of professionals from Madrid, had nine points and a game-high nine rebounds. All of his scoring came in the first half.
Tyler Wideman, Christian David and Joey Brunk each had seven points. Brunk and Nate Fowler added seven rebounds apiece. Kamar Baldwin had a game-best five assists.
Butler shot 45 percent in the contest. The Bulldogs held Arcos to 39-percent shooting, including only 25 percent in the first half. Jose Ortega led the home team with 13 points.
The Bulldogs are now 2-0 so far on the trip.
Butler travels to Valencia later in the day on Sunday. The team's next game is Tuesday evening in Valencia.
