In 2010, Butler University's Men's Basketball Team swept the Horizon League and then beat Texas-El Paso, Murray State, Syracuse, Kansas State, and Michigan State before falling to Duke in the national championship game. The next season, the Bulldogs won the league tournament and beat Old Dominion, Pittsburgh, Wisconsin, Florida, and Virginia Commonwealth before losing to Connecticut in the national championship game.
