Mark Medley has joined the Butler Softball coaching staff in the role of volunteer assistant coach. Head coach Scott Hall announced the recent addition to his staff.
 
"I am excited to add Coach Medley to the Staff," said Hall, who enters his eighth season leading the Butler program. "He has been around athletics for many years and brings a lot of experience to the table. Mark served as an assistant coach alongside Coach Stacey Goyette at both Shenandoah High School and on the travel ball circuit. He will be a good fit for our staff!"
 
Medley is a retired entrepreneur and businessman who served on the Shenandoah High School coaching staff from 2008-15.
 
He served the YMCA as a trustee for more than 15 years and has more than 25 years of experience as a high school and college basketball referee. He was named the Henry County Indiana Citizen of the Year in 1991.
