Lewis Suddick had two goals and two assists as the No. 17 Bulldogs picked up a pair of wins in Bloomington at the Adidas/IU Credit Forum Classic. His performance earned him BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week honors as announced by the conference office Monday, Sept. 4.

Suddick was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Indiana University event. Against 2016 NCAA Tournament team South Florida on Friday, Suddick opened the scoring with a goal less than 90 seconds into the match. His penalty kick in the 93
rd minute was the game-winner in overtime.

Against San Francisco on Sunday, Suddick had two assists, including a helper on
Kieran Geldenhuys' game-winner as Suddick served up the corner kick that was headed in at the 83:55 mark in the 3-2 win.

Suddick is the second Bulldog to win the weekly honor in the first two weeks of the season as junior
Jared Timmer was recognized as the Player of the Week after the first games of the 2017 season.
Eric Dick was named Goalkeeper of the Week alongside Timmer's honor.

Suddick, an All-BIG EAST preseason team honoree, has seven points on the season (two goals, three assists). Those seven points are second in the BIG EAST. Butler is 3-1 on the young season.
