All-Time Series
Butler holds a 4-2 advantage over Kent State in the all-time series. These programs last faced off in 2012 with BU recording a 3-0 win. Butler and Kent State met twice during the 2009 season. They were in the same tournament field at IPFW over opening weekend with BU taking a 3-0 win. The second meeting was at the Kent State Mizuno Open where the Golden Flashes picked up a 3-2 victory.
Beck Featured on BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Whitney Beck was named to the 2017 Michigan Invite All-Tournament team as the Bulldogs finished with a 2-1 record and Beck tallied three double-doubles. Beck averaged 4.35 points, 3,80 kills and 3.50 digs per set. In a loss at then-No. 19 Michigan, Beck had 12 kills and 10 digs. For the week, Beck hit .232.
Logan Sidelined With Injury

Beck Eyes Breakout Season
Whitney Beck has recorded a double-double in all seven matches. The 6-0 redshirt junior led the team in kills (103), ranks second in digs (96) and third in blocks (21).
Bulldogs Dominate Action at the Net
The Bulldogs lead the BIG EAST in solo blocks (21), block assists (122) and blocks per set (3.04).
Rachel Klitzing leads the conference with 38 total blocks while teammate
Bri Lilly leads the BIG EAST in blocks per set (1.50).
Klitzing Ties BU History
Freshman middle blocker
Rachel Klitzing recorded 14 blocks against Robert Morris. 14 total blocks placed Klitzing just three shy of the BU school record, but her 12 block assists against the Colonials ties the BU single-match record.
Bulldogs Reach 20.5 blocks vs. Robert Morris
Butler ended the five-set match against Robert Morris with 20.5 team blocks, tying the fourth-highest total in school history.

Butler will co-host a tournament next weekend with Ball State. The 'Dawgs will play Evansville in Muncie, Ind. on Friday, Sept. 15 and then return to Hinkle Fieldhouse to host both Duquesne and Ball State on Saturday. Saturday's full schedule features Butler playing Duquesne at 12 PM, Duquesne turning around and playing Evansville at 4 PM and BU hosting Ball State in the finale at 7 PM.
