Butler picked up their sixth-straight win with a 6-1 victory over Bucknell on Saturday. It capped a 2-0 weekend for the Bulldogs in Cleveland, Ohio.
The teams of
Mason Dragos and Aviv Ben Shabat,
Michael Dickson and
Spencer Lang, and
Ari Gerstein and
Adrian Mag swept doubles play for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs followed with five singles wins including straight-set wins by Dragos (No. 1), Dickson (No. 3), Mag (No. 4),
Lope Adelakun (No. 5), and
Sam Sullivan (No. 6).
At No. 2 singles, Lang fell to Max Kane in a third-set match tiebreaker.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Feb. 24, taking on Green Bay and Purdue in West Layfayette, Ind.
