Butler picked up their second win on the weekend with a 7-0 victory against BIG EAST opponent Providence on Saturday. It capped a 2-1 weekend for the Bulldogs in Rhode Island.

The teams of Bailey Padgett and Jordan Minnick, Rachel Sutton and Emily Neal, and Natale Corrigan and Lauren Marx swept doubles play for the Bulldogs.

Butler followed with seven singles wins including straight-set wins by Sutton (No. 2), Neal (No. 3), and Callie Schmit (No. 6).

At No. 1 singles, Padgett beat Providence's Risa Takenaka in a third-set match tiebreaker.

The Bulldogs are back in action at home on Feb. 25 against Gustavus Adolphus College. The match is set to begin at 1:30 p.m.
