Logan Sabins claimed medalist honors at The Invitational atÂ

Harbor. His 54-hole score of seven-under 209 won the event by two strokes.
Sabins followed up his rounds of 69 and 68 on Saturday with an even-par round of 72 on Sunday. He had three birdies and three bogeys along with 12 pars on his round. Conditions were tougher on Sunday as no golfer in the 83-player field shot in the 60s.
Sabins was two shots better than Gavin deFisser of William & Mary (211, -5). Michael Busse of Austin Peay and Bobby Dunphy and Newport Laparojkit of South Carolina Beaufort tied for third at 212 (-4). Laparojkit and Van Holmgren were the two players who entered Sunday's final round tied with Sabins; Sabins was three and four shots better than them on Sunday, respectively.
As a team, Butler finished sixth. Butler shot a team score of five-over 293 Sunday to finish the three-round event at 880 (+16).
Host William & Mary won the event at The Club at Savannah Harbor (par-72, 7,116 yards). The Tribe shot a 10-under, three-round total of 854. Austin Peay shot the best round of the day Sunday at three-under 285 and finished second overall. South Carolina Beaufort, North Dakota State and Bethune-Cookman were the only other teams ahead of Butler in the team competition. Butler trailed NDSU by three strokes and Bethune-Cookman by one.
Butler's other four players were separated by only two shots.
Michael Cascino and
Patrick Allgeier finished in a tie for 43
rd at nine-over 225.
Augie Hartnagel shot 74 Sunday to finish at 10-over 226. He finished in a tie for 47
th.
Ricky Kuiper's three-round score of 227 (+11) was good for T-51.
The Bulldogs return to action next month with a pair of tournaments in Florida over the week of Spring Break. Butler will host the Benbow Invitational and the Bulldog Florida Invitational in the Jacksonville area.
