BIG EAST Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week

NEW YORK - After a 2-1 weekend for the Bulldogs, Bailey Padgett earns BIG EAST Tennis Athlete of the Week. The Bulldogs defeated Rhode Island and Providence and fell to Bryant. In the No. 1 singles position, Padgett went undefeated, beating  Mihaela Codreanu (Rhode Island) 6-1, 7-5, Ashanti Campfield (Bryant) 7-5, 3-6, 10-8, and Risa Takenaka (Providence) 6-2, 1-6, 6-2. In the No. 1 doubles position, Padgett and partner Jordan Minnick went 3-0 on the weekend.
