The Butler football team will play its annual Blue-White spring game on Saturday afternoon, April 21. The start time is set for approximately 1 p.m. The intrasquad game between Butler's offensive and defensive units will conclude the team's spring practices.

The game runs on a scoring system that awards points to the offense for touchdowns, extra points, field goals, first downs, long passing plays, long running plays and fourth down conversions. Offense will wear white jerseys.

Defense will be in blue, and can gain points for 3-and-outs, takeaways, defensive touchdowns/PATs, blocked/missed PATs, defensive stops, sacks, tackles for loss and fourth down stops.

The teams will play four 15-minute quarters with a running clock that stops only between drives and in the final two minutes.

The fall 2018 season kicks off at Youngstown State on Sept. 1. The first home game will be Sept. 15 against Princeton.
