Craig Neece will join the Butler football staff as a tight ends coach, head coach
Jeff Voris announced Thursday, March 1. Neece joins the Bulldogs after serving as the defensive line coach at Missouri Baptist University.
"We are excited to have Coach Neece join our staff," said Voris. "He has played for and coached with some very good football coaches. He will make a great addition to our staff."
Neece has served on the Missouri Baptist staff since 2017, developing weekly scouting reports, practice schedules and game breakdown, in addition to being the video coordinator.
Neece began his coaching career in 2016 at MacMurray College as the defensive line coach and the strength and conditioning coordinator. Neece was also a professional arena football player from 2016-17.
A graduate of DePauw in 2015, Neece earned his degree in kinesiology and was a four-year starter for the Tigers' football team. During his time at DePauw, Neece was named to the All-NCAC conference team and was a D3 Senior Classic participant.
