After 18 holes at the Benbow Invitational, the Butler men's golf team is in third place. The Benbow Invitational features in-state foe IUPUI, Albany State University, and Chicago State University.

Butler shot a 17-over 305 on the 6,784-yard Blue Sky Golf Club in Jacksonville, Fla. The Bulldogs trail IUPUI (295, +7) and Albany State (304, +16). Chicago State is in fourth, shooting a 20-over 308.

Patrick Allgeier, Michael Denner, Logan Sabins, and Albany State's Dominic DiGiacomo each shot a two-over 74 to land in a four-way tie for fourth.

Michael Cascino (77, T11) and Augie Hartnagel (80, T17) round out the Butler five.

IUPUI's Nathan Cunningham shot a two-under 70 to take the first spot heading into the final 18 holes. He has a one-shot lead over Albany State's Tyler Hanson.

Play concludes Tuesday with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
