Butler finished eighth at the 54-hole Babs Steffens Invitational hosted by Stetson University. Play concluded Tuesday. The Bulldogs shot a team score of 960 on the 6,006-yard DeBary Golf and Country Club course in DeBary, Fla.

Saint Leo finished first, posting a team score of 919 (+55). They finished with a one-stroke advantage over Seminole State. Xavier took the third spot with a team score of 939.

Kelsey McDougall was the top Bulldog, finishing tied for 16^th. She posted a team-best one-over par score of 73 in the third round to finish with a total score of 235 (+19).

Lauren Tibbets (+25, 85-79-77—241) finished in a tie for 28^th. Rachel Gathof (+27, T32), Abigail Gleixner (+28, T36), and Ally Ross (+38, 52^nd) round out the Butler five.

Saint Leo's Amanda Jakobsson and Seminole State's Tuan-Yu Chiang finished in a tie for first with a four-over 220. Yudika Rodriguez (Bethune-Cookman) and Morgan Tinsley (Xavier) finished in a tie for third with a total score of 227.

The Bulldogs return to action on April 2, hosting the Butler Individual.
