Nikoloff Invitational at the University of Cincinnati Results (PDF)
The Bulldogs had a strong showing at the North Carolina State-hosted Raleigh Relays.
For the second weekend in a row,
Johnny Leverenz won the 800 meters. On Saturday, he ran 1:49.48, narrowly edging East Carolina's Stephano Migliorati (1:49.54).
In the 10,000 meters,
Matt Lumbar's time of 30:07.88 was good for a personal-best. In the same event, Butler alum Tom Anderson ran a time of 29:22.95, which was good for eighth in the elite section.
Bobby Johnson finished in 30:14.20.
Jake Kellersohn finished fourth in his section of the 200 meters (22.37).
Jacob Uhl was the top Bulldog finisher in the 400 meters with a time of 50.06.
It was another Saturday and another school record time for
Allie Vogeler. She crossed the line in 59.47 in the 400-meter hurdles. That time was good for fourth in the top section.
Freshman
Camille Hines won her second of the 1,500 meters with a lifetime-best time of 4:34.67.
Angelina Ellis was fourth in her section of the event Friday, running a time of 4:37.52.
Sophomore
Josephine Thestrup finished the 5,000 meters, running a time of 16:54.89.
Butler also sent competitors to the University of Cincinnati for the Nikoloff Invitational. Those results are also linked above.
The Bulldogs are off next weekend before returning to action April 13 at the Ball State Challenge.
