Scouting Indiana State
The Sycamores are 21-19 overall after picking up a 3-1 win at #24 Louisville on Sunday. CJ Huntley, Jarrod Watkins and Dane Giesler are three impact players in the ISU lineup. Huntley holds the best batting average on the team at .320. He has nine doubles, two triples and three homers on the year for 24 RBI. Watkins is one of just three players to start in all 40 games for the Sycamores. He is batting .307 with a team-high 50 hits. Fifth-year Head Coach Mitch Hannahs adds power to the lineup with first baseman Dane Giesler. The red-shirt senior has 10 home runs and a team-high 28 RBI. On the mound the Sycamores will go with Geremy Guerrero, a sophomore left-hander with a 2.12 ERA. Guerrero will be making his third start of the season and his 11th overall appearance.
Victory Field
Butler will play Indiana State at Victory Field on Tuesday night. Victory Field is a minor league ballpark in downtown Indianapolis that plays host to the Indianapolis Indians of the International League. Built in 1996, Victory Field has been recognized as the "Best Minor League Ballpark in America" by Baseball America and Sports Illustrated. The stadium has seating for 12,230 fans and a lawn area.
Wild Week
Butler went 3-1 last week, but it wasn't easy. The 'Dawgs went into extra innings to take down IU-Kokomo 9-7. The very next day Butler would go into 11 innings to defeat Miami Ohio 4-3.

Connor Dall against the Redhawks to lift BU to victory. Just three days later the Bulldogs would find the win column again vs. Illinois State with another walk-off hit.

Graziano Gets the Start
Freshman
Joe Graziano will make his third start of the season for BU on Tuesday. The left-handers first start of the season came at Fort Wayne on April 10. His most recent start was at IU-Kokomo on April 24. Graziano's longest outing of the season came against the Mastodons when he tossed the opening four innings. He matched that effort on April 17 with a four-inning outing out of the bullpen. Graziano has struck out at least three batters in each of his last three outings. He has only walked five batters in 18 full innings of work.
Southpaw
Butler is batting .299 vs. left-handed pitchers this season.
James Gargano and
Tyler Houston hold the highest batting averages against southpaws. Gargano is 10-for-27 vs. lefties (.370) and Houston is batting .433 (13-for-30).
