The Butler Track and Field team will now travel to Normal, Ill. to participate in the Redbird Invitational hosted by Illinois State on Saturday, April 14, instead of the previously scheduled Ball State Challenge, head coach Matt Roe announced Monday. The decision was made after the Ball State Challenge moved the start date of the meet up to Friday, April 13, from Saturday, April 14.

"We are grateful for Coach Bovee and his staff for extending their standing offer to join the Redbird Invitational," Roe said. "We are excited to head towards strong competition and forecasted clear skies this weekend. This schedule adjustment will not only challenge our athletes but it will negate any potential missed class time on Friday as well."
