INDIANAPOLIS –
Ryan Pepiot and
Jack Pilcher shutout Georgetown on Saturday afternoon to help the Bulldogs pick up a 3-0 victory. Pepiot went eight full innings and struck out a career-high 12 batters to improve to 5-0 on the season. Pilcher took care of the ninth inning to register his team-best eighth save.

Peptiot struck out 12 and only walked two in a very impressive outing. He didn't allow a hit until the top of the fifth inning. Alex Bernauer broke up the no-hitter as the lead-off man with a single to leftfield. Ryan Davis followed in the order with a base knock to put two on with no out.

Georgetown Head Coach Pete Wilk called for the sac bunt and it was executed by Sammy Stevens to advance each base runner. Pepiot didn't flinch with runners in scoring position. The righty dialed in to strike out the next two batters, keeping the Hoyas off the scoreboard.

Offensively,
Garrett Christman put BU on top with a two-RBI single through the left side of the infield in the first inning. Butler added an insurance run in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Harrison Freed scored
Gehrig Parker with a deep sac fly to right.

Butler will look for the series sweep tomorrow when the clubs come together for an 11:30 AM start. Senior Day activities will begin near 10:45.
