Butler University Athletics

Atkin was a four-time Team MVP on the golf team as he led BU in scoring from 1992-95. He averaged a 77 on his scorecard during his career which covered 110 rounds of action.  A three-time All-MCC performer, Atkin was also a two-time team captain and the winner of the 1991-92 Frank "Pop" Hedden Outstanding Freshman Award. He moved forward in his career to earn four varsity letters in golf and to win the mental attitude award along with the Herb Schwomeyer Scholarship.
