Seasons at Butler: First Season
AS A JUNIOR (2005-06): Set school records and was a Horizon League Championship finalist in the 1000 free (9:29.85), 500 free (4:36.32), and 200 free (1:41.99)...also swam to a fifth-place time of 16:06.43 in the 1,650 at the league championships...led off the 800 free relay....MVP at both team and All-Sports Banquet...posted top-10 performances in the100 backstroke (55.01).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2004-05): Placed third in the 1000-yd. freestyle, fifth in the 1650-yd. freestyle and sixth in the 500-yd. freestyle to lead the Butler effort at the 2005 Horizon League Championships...in the 500-yd. event, Duggal got to the wall in 4:37.66, setting a new Butler record...narrowly missed his own school record in the 1000-yd. freestyle, covering the distance in 9:35.21, just 45 one-hundredths of a second behind his mark set at the 2004 Championships...used a time of 16:08.25 to take fifth in the 1650-yd. freestyle.

AS A FRESHMAN (2003-04): Set two school records at the 2004 Horizon League Championships, shattering Butler marks in the 500-yd. (4:38.43) and 1000-yd. freestyle (9:34.76)...finished fourth in the 1000-yd. freestyle...his time was more than 13 seconds faster than the old record in the 1000...finished sixth in the 500...broke the school record with a time of 15:58.21 in the 1650-yd. freestyle at the Championships, finishing second overall in the event.

AT COLUMBUS NORTH: All-American and Speedo Sectional qualifier...all-conference selection...sectional and conference champion...state qualifier...team captain...member of National Honor Society...graduated in the top five percent of his class...team won the state championship during his freshman year...earned four varsity letters...high school coach: Jim Sheridan.

PERSONAL: Born April 21, 1985...son of Vinod and Moira Duggal...pharmacy major.
