Butler senior Rob Mullett became just the second indoor track and field All-American in Butler history with a top eight finish in the mens mile at the 2010 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championship on Saturday, March 13. Butler Records Fall At Alex Wilson Last Chance
The Butler track and field squad took advantage of the Alex Wilson Last Chance Meet, hosted by Notre Dame, to break two school records and add a couple of qualifying marks for the upcoming NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship. The Alex Wilson meet wrapped up on Saturday, March 6.

Butler Men And Women Finish Second At Horizon League Track Championship
Senior Joe Macdonald and freshman Kirsty Legg each posted a pair of individual wins, and the duo led Butlers men and women to runner-up finishes at the 2010 Horizon League Indoor Track and Field Championship in Ann Arbor, Mich., Feb. 27-28. It was Butlers highest combined finish ever!

Bulldogs Have Strong Middle Distance Showing At EIU
Butlers final outing prior to the 2010 Horizon League Indoor Track and Field Championship, Feb. 27-28, produced several solid performances, particularly in the middle distance events. Team scores werent kept at the Eastern Illinois Friday Night Special, but the meet proved to be a solid tune-up for Butlers individual runners.

Senior Rob Mullett, who became the first athlete in Butler track history to record a sub-four minute mile, has been named Horizon League Male Track Athlete of the Week for the period of February 8-14.

Senior Rob Mullett made Butler history and earned NCAA qualification with a sub-four minute mile run at the Husky Classic, hosted by the University of Washington on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 12-13). Mulletts performance highlighted a weekend of track action for Butler athletes.

Senior Joe Macdonald hit an NCAA qualifying mark and freshman Kirsty Legg broke the school record in the mile to highlight a strong performance but the Butler track and field squad at the prestigious Meyo Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame Friday through Sunday (Feb. 5-7).

Butler Posts Solid Marks At Indiana Relays
Butler head coach Matt Roe entered only a partial squad in the Indiana Relays, but the Bulldogs still turned in several solid performances in the two-day meet hosted by Indiana University. Eight different Butler runners claimed a Top 6 individual finish in the multi-team meet, and one posted a school record!

Butler middle distance runners Rob Mullett and Katie Clark have been honored by the Horizon League for their efforts in the mile run at the Gladstein Invitational indoor track meet in Bloomington, Ind., on Friday, Jan. 22. Mullett was named league Male Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, while Clark was selected as the Female Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
