Butler's cross country squad wrapped up its regular season schedule at the non-scoring Hoosier Invitational on Saturday (Nov. 9). Head coach Matt Roe sent several runners to the competition, which was held on the IU Championship Cross Country Course.
Sophomore Samantha Turley turned in the top individual performance for the Bulldogs with an eighth place finish in the women's race. She covered the 5K course in 19:09.8.
Freshman Maddie Westerhoff came in 13th in 19:30.6, while sophomore Taylor Royalty came in 16th in 19:37.8. Sophomore Stephanie Hanagan finished 18th in 19:38.4 and freshman Jennifer Schrock placed 23rd in 20:37.9. A total of 27 runners competed in the women's race.
Butler didn't enter any runners in the men's race.
Roe will have his full squads in action this week at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Friday, Nov. 15, in Madison, Wis.
