Pre-Butler: Played two seasons at Vermont before the Catamounts dropped varsity baseball...batted .312 with four homers, 34 RBIs and 12 stolen bases as a sophomore in 2009...appeared in 16 games as a freshman, hitting .259 with a pair of home runs and eight RBIs.

High School: Named all-conference and all-area as a senior in 2007...voted as Glenbrook South's most improved player...earned two letters in football and was named the team's special teams player of the year.
